400g Silky Icing Meringue Buttercream

Note: Only for electric mixers with a power rating of 1,000 watts or higher.

To get the ideal result, you’ll need a whisk and paddle attachment.

Additional whipping time may be required if using a mixer with less than 1000 watts, and results may not be reached.

Our Silky Icing Meringue Buttercream Mix was created in Australia, and it is proudly manufactured here as well.

Simply follow our simple recipe, which only takes two ingredients: water and unsalted butter. In place of butter, vegetable creaming shortening can be used, or both can be used together.

We are especially proud of our recipe, which was created to allow the home baker to get a consistent and speedy outcome that is as near to a scratch-made Swiss Meringue Buttercream as possible.

You don’t have to boil or simmer the mixture first; simply add water and stir, then add the cubed butter and stir again.

The frosting is silky smooth and has a faint vanilla flavour.

It’s also possible to flavour and colour the mixture.

400g of dry mix is enough to ice 24 cupcakes or cover an 8″ round cake.

Dry mix can be utilised in 200g increments, with any leftover dry mix being saved for subsequent use.

The mixture may be piped or spread and keeps its shape when refrigerated; it’s also perfect for in between layers.
